2026-27 CAA Top 10 Players
2026-10-07
The CAA lost most of its 2025-26 all-conference production, which makes this year's player hierarchy unusually dependent on transfers, injury returns and expanded roles.
MMH Top 10 Players
- Patrick Wessler, UNC Wilmington - 13.6 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 59.9% FG and 17 double-doubles. He is the league's safest preseason star.
- CJ Luster II, UNC Wilmington - Missed last season, but averaged 16.8 PPG and shot 42.1% from three in his last full year at Stony Brook.
- Justin Moore, Hofstra - Veteran lead guard with CAA experience and the ball in his hands for the defending tournament champion.
- Bryson Cokley, Elon - Blue Ribbon preseason All-CAA pick and the centerpiece of Elon's rebuilt roster.
- Deywilk Tavarez, Hofstra - Experienced two-way guard who has already played meaningful CAA basketball.
- Ben Bradford, Charleston - Averaged 13.5 PPG at Charlotte and gives John Groce a proven downhill scorer.

Just Outside the Top 10
Tyler Jackson, Hampton has breakout potential after finishing last season in Eastern Kentucky's starting lineup.
Jayme Mitchell Jr., Hampton brings proven scoring from Jackson State and gives the Pirates another reason for optimism.
Jaquan Womack, Towson could make one of the largest sophomore jumps in the league if Towson's offense expands around him.
Martin Kalu, Charleston already started every game as a freshman and has the size to become one of the league's most versatile wings.
Ryan Williams, Northeastern produced an exceptionally efficient shooting season and could climb rapidly with more volume.
